PERTHSHIRE PROJECTS

My early life was spent on the Moray Firth, before going on to study Electronics at Edinburgh University.  My first job was flying in helicopters and working at test sites across the UK developing military radar.  After a post graduate management degree, I moved on to become Chief Systems Engineer on a number of complex engineering and technology projects, ending up as the UK Technology Investment and IP Manager.  ​

 

I have been part of some quite brilliant teams that have delivered service, products and projects. I have worked with UK Government, NATO and other agencies and customers across Europe, the US, the Far and Middle East, and on smaller projects in Australia, South Africa and Brazil.  I have engaged with UK universities, and with many small businesses, helping them develop specialised components. My life and work was mainly in Scotland, but I also spent some years abroad, in California, Italy and South England.

I have recently moved back to the countryside and now offer my experience and time to small businesses in this community who may not quite have the time or resource to do all that they want to.  ​​​​
